Presque Isle High School

Mission Statement

The Presque Isle High School Alumni Association (“Association”) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reconnecting former classmates, faculty, staff, and friends of Presque Isle High School, fostering lifelong relationships, and supporting students and graduates through mentoring, networking, and community events. We’re in hopes of establishing future scholarships.

Goals

• To connect with SAD #1 and establish a working relationship.
• To reconnect with former Classmates, Faculty, Staff and Friends.
• To enlist new graduates as members to grow the Association.
• To establish a searchable database of Association members. The database would include contact and professional information. The database would act as a resource connecting new graduates and Alumni for:
  • Mentoring — sharing experiences and perspectives of various job fields
  • Job searching
• To connect with business, industry and service organization to aid recent graduates with possible mentorships, internships, partnerships and jobs opportunities.
• Establish annual Home Coming / Reunions Weekend event to provide luncheon or dinner for all schoolmates to socialize while encouraging classes to schedule their own reunion gatherings.

Process

• Association will be setup as a Nonprofit Entity.
• Establish a board representing as many Classes as possible.
• Connect with Alumni through social media, website, e-mails, newsletter and an annual meeting.

We’re in hopes of establishing future scholarships. Membership sign-up is free and open to all PIHS graduates, faculty, staff, and friends through our membership form.
